How long do all natural treats last and how should I store them?
Our treats are made with fresh ingredients and never any added salts, sugars or preservatives. Salts, sugars, and preservatives are the kinds of ingredients that allow you to have treats sitting on the top of the refrigerator forever!
Our all natural treats are different. When you get a new jar (Create a Jar), or a refill from us at the market, treat (no pun intended) them like food and store them in the refrigerator. You can also use your own storage container or even freeze them for longer lasting treats!
Our packaged treats (Treat Varieties) can be treated like traditional treats. These treats are baked crunchy and can stay on the kitchen counter or on top of the refrigerator as the shelf life is much longer. We recommend keeping an eye on the "best by date" on the back of the packaging. Refrigerating or freezing our packaged treats will extend the shelf life even longer than the "best by date".
